Online Labs for Inquiry Learning – Advanced

 

This Go-Lab course is specifically designed for teaching professionals in STEM that have already used Go-Lab and have created or adjusted an ILS, and thus are familiar with the basics of the authoring tool Graasp. The school will deepen teachers’
knowledge in the use of online labs as well as inquiry-based science teaching techniques to develop, improve and enhance
their teaching skills and practices.

Open Schools for Open Societies

 

 

This course presents the OSOS Open Schooling Model which puts emphasis on the creation of viable changes to school settings, through students' projects, that last and expand. It prepares teachers to assess the existing learning methods and materials in the school, abandon those which fail or are too costly, learn lessons,disseminate and reproduce the successful ones on a larger scale, through an international school-network.

Inquiry and Interdisciplinarity in Science Teaching

 

PLATON Space Challenge is organized in the context of the PLATON project. This course introduces teachers to innovative interdisciplinary and inquiry-based learning approaches that have demonstrably engaged students in science and promoted the development of 21st century skills. It focuses on meeting the needs of different types of students by switching from a teacher-centered to a student-centered approach.

Technology for language learning 

 

 

This course aims to familiarize teachers with ICT tools that can be used in the language classroom. Teachers will reflect on their practices and develop competences in inquiry and project-based learning approaches with the assistance of technological tools.
